As most of you probably know by now, I’m an East London gal. Vans, oversized trousers a big baggy coat is where I feel most at home. However, my sister lives in Battersea which brings me this side of the river once or twice a week and I’ve unwittingly fallen in love with a few choice destinations.
It’s through our equal obsession for brunch that she brought me to what she oh so casually refers to as her ‘local’; Queenswood.
Having spent several hungover morning tucking into a stack of their pancakes and cold winter afternoons alongside their roast dinners, I thought I’d introduce this little gem of a hotspot to all of you lovely people.
Colour-coordinated pastels against rustic, ‘unfinished’ walls and copper lighting.
A brunch menu to DIE FOR, including a stack of the fluffiest blueberry and blossom honey pancakes you’ll find, smoothies and great coffee blends.
With outdoor seating on Battersea Square when the sun’s shining and a cosy yet absolutely chic bar and restaurant indoors, I can’t recommend this lovely location enough.
